On the 1st of the month the Generals men faced off to the Mustangs of Western Wyoming Community College in a conference battle. Generals came out with a vengance after falling to the Mustangs in the last match up in January. Playing on their home court, Sheridan took off and gained a lead early in the first half and returning after halftime with an 11 point lead. The momentum stayed with the hungry Generals as the second half of the game commenced.
Key players for the Generals included Marcus Stephens with 33 points shooting 50% from the arc, JoVon McClanahan totalling 23 points, Markel Aune with 12 points and Tristan Bower with 11 points and 6 rebounds. Assist totals were lead by McClanahan adding up 7 and Stephens trailing with 4. Sheridan kept the energy through the second half in a solid effort from the team. Despite being outscored in the second half, the Generals prevailed to take the game, 91-82 and move to 4-4 in the Region 9.
