Yaste signs with the University of Wyoming

Sophomore Kiahlei Yaste signed to continue her education and volleyball career at NCAA Division 1 University of Wyoming.

Kiahlei a 5'9" utility player from Greeley, Wyoming came to the program with big goals and the work ethic to go with it. "From the first day I spoke with Kiahlei about her goals after SC she said she wanted to play volleyball at a Division 1. She came in everyday with that goal in her mind and worked very hard to reach that goal." Said Coach Jennifer Stadler. Kiahlei's freshman year she played middle hitter for the Generals and tallied 241 kills, 19 aces, 174 digs and 47 blocks. Her sophomore season Kiahlei saw playing time as a 6 rotation outside hitter and defensive specialist. This season Kiahlei tallied 143 kills, 21 aces, 288 digs at 2.32 digs per set and 37 blocks. She is part of the academic all region team both seasons and this season made academic all American.
