The Sheridan College Generals picked up a road win last night as they travelled to former Region IX opponent, Little Big Horn College. The 9th win of the season for Sheridan College moves the team's overall record to 9-0. The win on the road against the LBHC Rams came after two home wins over the weekend, as the Generals defeated Lake Region State and Williston State during the 44th annual Lions Club Classic. So far this season, the Generals have had five different players lead them in scoring during their nine wins. The depth of this Sheridan College team is what Coach Matt Hammer thinks will be the difference maker for the Generals this season; "With Hayden and Dante red-shirting this season, we've got 13 guys that can play. We're more than comfortable going with any one of those 13 guys, doesn't matter the time, score or situation of the game."
So far this season, the Generals have five players averaging double-digit points, with Jay Lewis sitting right there at 9.6ppg. Up next for Sheridan College will be two home games this weekend with Dawson Community College on Friday at 7:30 pm and Miles Community College on Saturday at 4 pm.
