#22 Generals Improve to 19-3 with Road Win

The Sheridan College Generals moved to 19-3 (5-2) on the year with a 89-84 road win over the Northwest College Trappers on Wednesday night in Powell, WY.  Battling early foul trouble and 12 first-half turnovers, the Generals found themselves trailing the Trappers 41-40 going into halftime.  AJ Bramah and the Generals came out more aggressive to start the 2nd half, building a 10 point lead with 10:24 remaining in the game.  The Trappers would battle back though, as they were able to make it a one possession game with under 2 minutes to play.  For the Generals, Channel Banks stepped up big down the stretch, making some crucial free throws that sealed the win for the #22 ranked Generals.

Banks finished with 21 points, finishing the game 13-14 from the charity stripe.  Behind a big 2nd half, AJ Bramah did his part as he finished with 16 points and 6 rebounds.  Camron Reece and Ladan Ricketts finished with 16 and 14 points respectively, with Ricketts going 4-9 from deep in the contest.  Freshman, Sean Sutherlin continued his attacking play, finishing with 13 points, most of which came from points in the paint.

The Generals travel to Riverton, WY on Saturday to take on Central Wyoming College at 4 PM.
